HISTORY OF ROCA CONSTRUCTIONS
Roca Constructions has emerged as a leader in quality building, drawing on a wealth of building knowledge and expertise by it's founder, Charlie (Carmelo) Vecchio. Charlie started as a builder in Queensland in 1958.
At a young age, he followed his passion and showed his initiative by starting the company known as Vecchio Brothers.
After 33 years, and many successful ventures with his brother, he went out on his own. With over half a century of expertise, Charlie has a proud heritage that has seen him build a portfolio of quality products. Using skills and expertise acquired over many years, he has been able to build a successful company where good product and reasonable price has been of utmost importance. His success has enabled him to build commercial, residential, retail and industrial projects.
Projects in the past have included a high rise development, a 31 story tower on Mary Street in the CBD, upmarket residential developments such as The Regent on Coronation Drive, Milton, The River Crest at Kangaroo Point, The Edwardian at Spring Hill, and Spring Hill Central to name a few.
Roca Constructions evolved as Charlie's second generation of building. It was formed in 2002 with the combined efforts of Roger Azzopardi and Charlie. Together, they continue to build quality apartments such as South Vale in South Brisbane, Charlize Place in Toowong, Equinox at Chermside, Child Care Centres and more.
With over 52 years experience, Roca Constructions is known for pioneering in the construction industry keeping ahead of industry trends, to provide creative and innovative developments.
